ทุกคนมีความเครียดเป็นปกติในชีวิตประจำวัน เมื่อเกิดความเครียดจะส่งผลกระทบทั้งระยะสั้นและระยะยาว ระยะสั้น ทำให้เกิดอาการปวดหัว หายใจไม่อิ่ม นอนไม่หลับ วิตกกังวล ปวดท้อง ความเครียดระยะยาว (เรื้อรัง) สามารถเพิ่มความเสี่ยงต่อโรคหัวใจ, อาการปวดหลัง, ซึมเศร้า, ปวดกล้ามเนื้อและปวดอย่างต่อเนื่องและมีระบบภูมิคุ้มกันของร่างกายอ่อนแอ ติดเชื้อโรคต่างๆได้ง่าย
ความเครียดเรื้อรังอาจส่งผลต่ออารมณ์และพฤติกรรมของคุณ มันทำให้คุณรู้สึกหงุดหงิด ร้อนใจ ความกระตือรือร้นที่จะทำอะไรต่างๆลดลงอย่างมาก หดหู่ใจจนไม่อยากจะทำอะไร

2. การฝึกผ่อนคลายอย่างช้า
นั่งหรือนอนในท่าที่ผ่อนคลาย หลับตาลง เริ่มจากส่วนบริเวณใบหน้าของคุณ โดยการกัดฟัน เกร็งใบหน้า และขมวดคิ้วเข้าหากัน เกร็งค้างไว้ 5 วินาทีแล้วคลายออก
ยกเกร็งหัวไหล่ขึ้นมาใกล้หูคุณมากที่สุด เกร็งค้างไว้ 5 วินาทีแล้วปล่อย
เกร็งกล้ามเนื้อแขนค้างไว้ 5 วินาทีแล้วปล่อย
ค่อยๆเกร็งกล้ามเนื้อทีละส่วนของร่างกายลงไปเรื่อยๆจากส่วนช่องท้อง ขา จนถึงเท้า โดยเกร็งไว้ทีละ 5 วินาทีแล้วปล่อยออก
มุ่งเน้นไปที่ความหนักเบาของร่างกายของคุณในขณะที่คุณผ่อนคลาย
หายใจเบา ๆ สักครู่แล้วเปิดตาของคุณ
3.จินตนาการภาพ
นั่งหรือนอนที่สะดวกในท่าที่สบาย
