ซึ่งเป็นความรู้เกี่ยวกับมนุษย์ ริเริ่มโดย รูดอล์ฟ สไตเนอร์ นักปรัชญาและนักการศึกษา
ชาวออสเตรีย
แนวทางในการพัฒนามนษุย์ให้มีศักยภาพ ความสำคัญ องค์ประกอบในความเป็นมนุษย์ ได้แก่ ร่างกาย (body) จิตใจ (soul) และจิตวิญญาณ (spirit)ไม่ว่าจะเป็นคนทั่วไปหรือบุคคลที่มีความต้องการพิเศษ ทุกคนมีทั้ง 3 ส่วน การจัดการศึกษาหรือการส่งเสริมคุณภาพชีวิตแก่บุคคลที่มีความต้องการพิเศษ จึงต้องสร้างให้เกิดความสมดุลของทั้ง 3 องค์ประกอบนี้ เนื้อหาในหนังสือเล่มนี้ประกอบด้วย3 ตอน ได้แก่ ความเข้าใจว่าบุคคลที่มีความต้องการพิเศษคือใคร ความเคลื่อนไหวของการทำางานเพื่อสนับสนุนบุคคลที่มีความต้องการพิเศษในสังคม และการปฏิบัติที่เหมาะสมในการอยู่ร่วมกับบุคคลที่มีความต้องการพิเศษ

คู่มือสังคมไทยเข้าใจบุคคลพิเศษ ประกอบด้วยหนังสือ 3 เล่ม “อยู่ตรงนั้นกับฉันได้ไหม” เป็นหนังสือลำาดับที่ 2 มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อช่วยเยียวยาและสร้างทัศนคติเชิงบวกแก่ผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับบุคคลที่มีความต้องการพิเศษและเผยแพร่ความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับทัศนะและการปฏิบัติที่เหมาะสมต่อบุคคลที่มีความต้องการพิเศษในสังคมไทยเนื้อหาในเล่ม 2 นำเสนอมุมมองในการมาเกิดพร้อมกับสภาวะที่มีความแตกต่างและแนวทางการดูแลบุคคลที่มีความต้องการพิเศษ ตั้งแต่แรกเกิดถึงอายุ 21 ปี โดยแบ่งเป็น3 ช่วงวัย ๆ ละ 7 ปี ซึ่งเป็นวัยพื้นฐานที่เป็นเสมือน “ย” และ “การบำบัดเยียวยา”ที่สำคัญยิ่งต่อการเติบโตในอนาคตของเด็ก
นอกจากนี้ ผู้เขียนได้ชักชวนให้พ่อแม่ฝึก “สังเกตกายทั้ง 4 ของลูก” เพราะ
ไม่มีใครจะรู้จักลูกดีไปกว่าพ่อแม่ เพื่อให้พ่อแม่ได้ฝึกใช้การสังเกตแบบไม่นำาความรู้สึก
ส่วนตัว หรือทัศนคติส่วนตัวไปตีความอันจะนำาไปสู่ “ความจริงและความเข้าใจที่ลึกซึ้ง”ต่อลูกในฐานะ “มนุษย์คนหนึ่ง” มิใช่เพ่งมองเพียงข้อบกพร่อง มองเพียงกลุ่มอาการ
หรือมุ่งเพียงปรับพฤติกรรม แต่การสังเกตลูกผ่านกายแต่ละชั้นอย่างสนใจและ
ไม่ตัดสิน จะนำาพาพ่อแม่ไปสู่บทบาทเชิงรุกในการช่วยเหลือ และสื่อสารข้อมูลเชิง
คุณภาพกับนักวิชาชีพที่เกี่ยวข้องในการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตลูกการเกิดมาของเด็กคนหนึ่งบนโลกใบนี้นับเป็นสิ่งมหัศจรรย์ เป็นสัญลักษณ์แห่งการเริ่มต้น ความรัก ความหวังของครอบครัว เด็กทุกคนนำา “ของขวัญ” มามอบให้โลกใบนี้ เด็กทุกคนต่างมี “ภารกิจ” บนโลกที่แตกต่างกัน และด้วยความรักความวิริยะอุตสาหะของพ่อแม่เท่านั้นที่จะช่วยให้เด็กแต่ละคน “ค้นพบของขวัญ”ที่นำติดตัวมา
ในยุคสมัยที่เด็กมากมายเกิดมาพร้อมกับสภาวะที่มีความต้องการพิเศษหรือด้วยเหตุอื่นใดในหนทางชีวิตที่ทำาให้พวกเขาต้องการ “การดูแลพิเศษ” จากครอบครัวพ่อแม่อาจมองเห็นเพียง “อุปสรรค” จนลืมค้นหา “ของขวัญ” ที่ซ่อนอยู่ภายในหลายครั้งหลายคราพ่อแม่อาจเหนื่อยล้ากับภารกิจมากมายที่ต้องรับผิดชอบจนไม่มีเวลานิ่งที่จะอยู่ตรงนั้นกับลูกอย่างแท้จริง
ผู้เขียนหวังว่า หนังสือเล่มนี้จะเป็นดังสะพานเชื่อมความเข้าใจจากพ่อแม่สู่ลูก และเป็นเสมือน “เพื่อน” คนหนึ่งที่ยืนอยู่เคียงข้างพ่อแม่ในยามที่ต้องการความช่วยเหลือทั้งด้านความรู้ มุมมองการช่วยเหลือสนับสนุน และศิลปะแห่งการเยียวยาตนเองและลูก หรือเพียงแค่เปิดหนังสือเล่มนี้เพื่อดูภาพประกอบสักภาพและอยู่กับภาพนั้นอย่างแท้จริง ให้เวลานิ่ง ๆ กับตนเองเพื่อบ่มเพาะพลังจากภายในแล้วหยัดยืนขึ้นอีกครั้งด้วยรอยยิ้มเพื่อก้าวต่อไปบนหนทางชีวิตอันยาวไกลของลูก
